100 Men Club Provides $10,000 in Donations

The 100 Men Club is a group of men who have been fortunate in their lives and are looking for opportunities to help the communities and families of Metro Detroit. Each quarter the club gathers at a local establishment to socialize and choose a recipient of $10,000 in donations. Any member may nominate a charity for consideration at an event. Three organizations are randomly chosen from the nominees and the nominating member makes a brief, informal presentation about the organization and it purpose to the group. Each member may vote (by ballot) for one of the three charities. The charity with the most votes is the recipient of the donations for that quarter. Each member then writes a check for $100 to the recipient charity for a total group contribution of $10,000 or more.

We wish to extend our most heartfelt thanks to 100 Men Club Member, Robert White, for nominating Michigan Arts Access. Mr. Bob has a longtime association with our organization as the founder and volunteer Director of our Club Create North Oakland County.

In addition to consistently serving one of our largest clubs, Bob is a tireless fundraiser for his club, as well as a tremendous advocate for all of MIAA programs.

MiAA intends to use the funds to continue the growth of our Club Create program across Michigan.
